Nursing bras are the most popular nursing bra in the US, with more than 7 million in use in the last quarter of 2015.
But they’re also the least expensive, according to research by nursing experts.
The survey by nursing consultancy Caremark also found nursing bras are often more comfortable for the breast, but they cost more than the most expensive nursing bra on offer.
It found nursing bra companies were spending less than $1,000 on the bras, while the average retail price for a nursing bra was $769.
What is a nursing bras?
There are different types of nursing bras in use, with different comfort and style options.
They range from low-profile, mesh-based, to lace-covered designs.
The bra you’re wearing may have the name of a different brand, or the bra’s manufacturer may not be aware of it.

The most popular styles of nursing bra are mesh and lace, with some brands offering more than one type of bra.
Aventas nursing bras feature a mesh breastplate and a mesh front, with mesh straps at the bottom of the breastplate.
Lace-covered nursing bras have an elastic mesh cover and mesh back, while other styles have a more conventional mesh cover with lace-like panels.

Are nursing bras the only nursing bras available?

They offer discounts, promotions and other incentives to help retailers sell more nursing bras.
