Practical nursing has been a major trend in recent years, with more people switching to home nursing and more people becoming certified.
Nick Nurse, a Registered Nurse, launched his “Nurse logo” in 2018, as a way to make home nursing more accessible to patients.
He has since sold over 1,000 ‘Nursing badges’ for home and community nursing, and his ‘Nurses’ brand is now a major supplier of nursing badges to the healthcare sector.
“Nurses are a highly skilled and resilient workforce that can help us make our home and communities safer, healthier and more productive,” he said.
“It’s no surprise that nursing badges are an easy and cheap way to earn money.”
Mr Nurse said he had been contacted by hundreds of people who wanted to buy his badge, and the demand had been overwhelming.
“We’re not just making money,” he added.
“Our badges are making us a part of the nursing profession.”
